Purchased sight unseen as a titled, non opp project bike that suffered an electrical fire. A cheap bike will easily turn into an expensive bike. Yet with clever resources, thorough interneting, and a general will to do it yourself the fun is what you'll make of it. Buying a bike that's literally burnt out to a crisp gives way to free creative reign to make something new. This build wasn't my first bike project but rather my first to be completed. Having my first motorcycle ride on a bike I've disassembled, redone, assembled, and tuned. Every system on the bike was redone, retrofitted, or rethought to create a thoughtful oem plus esq cafe racer thing of sorts. Fitting K1200RS wheels with a custom axle, to larger brakes on the front, progressive springs in modified forks, an adjustable rear shock from BSK, custom exhaust as well, to alternative switch gear and Motogadget front bulkhead design with Baja Designs lights, and a slew of little bits from Revival. It's a concise package of fun that sounds like a group B rally car with it's 8 valve, dual cam, inline 4 cylinder, with a nice 4 into one system. This bike is the epitome of slow bike fast, hauling the mail to and from.
