1949 Triumph Big Bear Scrambler

1949 Triumph TR5 Trophy featuring a 500cc "Square Barrel" engine with a Bill Martin swing arm conversion specifically for desert racing. The Square Barrel engine was manufactured by Triumph during WW2 for the RAF as an auxiliary power unit for the Lancaster bombers amongst other duties. The swing arm frame was constructed a few years before Triumph came out.with their own.
