Porsche Urban Safari Build

GD Racing in San Bruno, California

Fort Worth, Texas

Description

This build started life as a very light street car with a carbon fiber roof and fiberglass fenders, hood and deckled. It was finished with a minimal interior and plexiglass windows by GD Racing in San Bruno, CA. It was acquired but a Canadian collector who turned it into a rally style build with a full interior and glass. We acquired the car in 2023, finished some electrical gremlins and fitted it with the correct wheel's tires. We travel the US participating in various Porsche rallies where it shines with it's clearance combined with a well designed but period correct suspension, 3.6L engine and 915 transmission. It's a perfect urban rally build...it keeps up with the modern cars and we don't have to check up on the cattle guards and wash outs! Suspension: Elephant Racing and Tarett Engineering Engine: 3.6L sourced from a 993 - built twin pug and tuned 1.75" headers Trans: 915 re-geared Limited Slip differential
