Description

I bought this car when I was a sophomore in high school. The body was in really good shape and this is the paint job that was on it when I got it in 1995. Mechanically it was in pretty rough shape. I broke everything on it drag racing on the weekends. After I blew the spider gears out of the rear end my dad and I narrowed a Ford 9", mini tubbed it and got the rear end squared away. Then I blew up the 327. We ordered a ZZ4 crate engine from GM Performance and while we were there did four wheel disc brakes and replaced all the worn suspension parts. The M22 rock crusher is the only thing left of the driveline that came with the car. It has since been gone through of course. After all the mechanical stuff was done we re-did the interior. It has 64 Impala bucket seats and everything else recovered. Last year I decided to build a 383 stroker for it and re-do everything under the hood. I built the 11:1 compression full roller small block from the crank up with all forged internals, full MSD ignition system and fuel delivery by Holley. Me and the boys at the shop pulled the old ZZ4, re-did a bunch of wiring, stabbed the 383 stroker and installed 4.10 gears in the ol nine inch. I can't thank all the guys that work with my at my shop enough. They really helped me get this car to where I always wanted it thirty years later.
