This RX7 was acquired by and shipped to the U.S. by it's former owner who was a USAF service member stationed in Japan. I purchased the car in 2019 where it was intended to become a dedicated track car. In 2021, the car was sent to Rotary Performance in Garland, TX where Dave Navarro performed a major refresh of the original 13B engine, single-turbo swap, and many more mods to bring the car to life while making it more reliable for the high heat of Texas. The car made 350whp on it's base tune and estimated to produce ~450whp on 'high' boost w/ race gas. In 2024, the car was sent to Inline 6 Paint + Body to bring the body appearance up to par with the engine work previously done. Joshua's Team spent considerable hours to repair the 20 y/o RE-Amemiya bodykit and repaint the majority of the vehicle.
