Description
Purchased truck as a completely stock long bed 1972 c10 from a family friend in Driftwood Tx. Truck was used to haul a round bale of hay once a month for 30 years. I cut the bed and sourced a truck arm frame from a junkyard in Cameron. Also sourced a 6.0 LS and 4l80e from a junkyard as well. Started by building the motor and transmission. The motor has wiseco pistons, Callie rods, all new King bearings, BTR PDS blower cam, melling oil pump, all ARP hardware and Texas speed heads. Motor is topped with an LSA supercharger from Boost district. Suspension is a full coil over kit from QA1 including their full engine crossmember kit with rack and pinion. Frame has a full custom stiffener from Tinworks. Interior is completely sound insulated, has everything from custom billet latches to an era correct Igloo center console. Wiring consists of a new painless chassis harness along with a terminator X max and Holley Pro dash. I built this truck in my two car garage in 9 months with a floor jack, jack stands, cherry picker and a couple wood jigs I built to lift the cab and bed. Love you guys, understand if this is isn’t the type of vehicle you guys normally put on display but just thought I would give it a shot! The truck is 100% finished and now has about 4,200 miles on it.
